Gardening isn't just a way of life, it's a way to live.

When I bought our house in July 2007, I bought a yard that just happened to come with a house. I fell in love with the gardens and the flowers and the possibilities of the property before I'd ever even stepped foot in the house. I think the house could have been the biggest fixer upper on the planet and I still would have bought it. Because I bought the possibilities. But the house is just as perfect as the yard.

With this online journal, I plan to document the adventures in gardening through the year. I need it for myself. You can follow along if you want to.
